The folks at Acura are pretty desperate to get their hands on used cars these days. With the economy as bad as it is, it looks like most people are going for cheaper secondhand cars instead of buying new ones.
I got a pretty good deal on a lease for a new Acura 2009 TSX with the technology package. I put basically nothing down and I'm paying the same per month as the TL. And at the end of the 4 year lease I have the option to buy.
The reason I'm upgrading is because I actually want a smaller car with better mileage and even MORE features. For a car that's about the same price as my old TL, I'm getting a navigation system (you'd be surprised how you can use this in Hawaii), an even better surround sound system (10 speakers) that plays in addition to DVD-Audio, DTS, and normal CDs can also play mp3/wma discs and uses Dolby PLII. It also comes with an iPod USB hookup.
Although I loved my TL, I felt I was driving a tank and paying a lot for gas. And I usually drive by myself, so I don't need all the space. I hope to keep this one in better condition. It has a better turning curve and is so far easier to park. I love the rear camera when I put it in reverse.

just got an iphone 3Gs and i also have a 2009 TSX w/tech package. i have a "this accessory doesn't work with the iphone" when i plug the 3Gs in the tsx's usb port. got the phone to connect using bluetooth fine, screen shows songs on iphone but no music acctualy make it to the tsx sound system. you have the same issue with the iphone 3G?
What could be the problem is that your iPhone could be streaming music via Bluetooth. You press AUX on your dash to cycle through USB and Bluetooth Audio. I notice if you are streaming through Bluetooth then decide that you want to go to USB you might have to connect and reconnect your USB cable a couple of times.
The problem I'm having right now is that Bluetooth Audio doesn't connect on a regular basis.
Hope that helps. By the way, I'm writing this on my iPhone 3G while I'm shopping in Sam's Club. :)
